This is a cover Mikael Gabriel made of Maija Vilkkumaa's song Ei ("No") for the tv show Vain Elämää. In that show, rappers (like Mikael) usually use the original song sort of like a sample for the hook, and rewrite the verses, but instead of using an actual sample they either sing the chorus themselves or bring in a guest vocalist to do it for them.

* Commuter towns are sort of like "hoods" in America. Concrete jungles away from the city centre, where the only residents are people who can't afford to live elsewhere, like university students and immigrants and people who decided rap was a valiable career choice, but also drunks, junkies and criminals.

** "Stydi" is a slang word for "heavy" or "pregnant", I think he meant that, but used "stydä" because it creates an internal rhyme with "pyhä". "Pyhä tila" or "holy state" is another idiom to express that someone's pregnant. I'm surprised I couldn't find anything similar in English.

*** Not sure about this one. "Mennä vastikseen" indicates that "vastis" is a place, but...
