* Sampo is an object in the Finnish mythology, which brings riches and good fortune to anyone who has it, similarly to the horn of plenty in Greek mythology
** Lintukoto ("Home of birds") is a place in the Finnish mythology - it's located between the ground and the sky dome, in the horizon. Birds move there for the winter and come back in the spring. Lintukoto is inhabited by dwarfs known as lintukotolaiset (singl. lintukotolainen, lit. "habitant of Lintukoto"). In modern usage, lintukoto means a paradise-like place.
