Asa - Yhes ylös (Up together)

 The song samples J. Karjalainen's song Mennyt mies and was released as part of the Nyt kolisee! album, which is entirely made up of Finnish rappers sampling / using the beat of J. Karjalainen's Et ole yksin (You're Not Alone) album. I have made a translation of the opening words of the CD leaflet, written by Karri Miettinen, aka rapper Paleface, in case you're interested in learning more about how the album came to be.

he wants to whip the songs into hit shape

and that's a chop people prefer (he used the word "halonhakkaus" = "to chop wood")

so, then, this guy took a creative break

creating something new, not holding grudge

now, only now and then he goes to Malmi

to a moldy bomb shelter, to record these lines

the best lines break the dams/barrages of the mind

somewhere far away the disco lights are shining

I guess every one of us is a dying star
