Asa x Jurasikki x Jussi Valuutta - Pojat teki soppaa (Boys made soup)

"Soup" is slang for any self-made alcoholic drink, usually one made from Sorbus berries. "Olla liemessä", "to be in a broth" means to be in trouble, "keititpä aikamoisen liemen!", "you sure made quite some broth!" means the same, that someone got themselves in trouble by doing something. This song title is a double of those two expressions, the self-made alcoholic drink and the self-made trouble one's in. Making your own alcohol at home was illegal in 1919 to 2018 (the law was gradually loosened more and more during those 99 years). This song is from 2005.

Jes jes jes.

 Yup, yup, yup.

Uppoo silmiin vitivalkosta sinisellä

Snow-white on blue sinking into the eyes

ilmiselvää pilvisellä pimitellään

What is abundantly clear is being held from on a cloudy weather

Riimitellä iisii, haulista biisii

To rhyme, easy, a song about a birdshot

kaunista viisuu, lökäpöksyt

 A beautiful song, baggy pants

Ota osaa anna pojan huutaa

Take part / have compassion, let the boy scream

Asa osaa muuta, soittamassa suuta

Asa (don't) know nothing else, running his mouth

Paljain käsin kaivan luovuutta päistä

With bare hands I dig creativity from heads/ends

täällä, tuolla, siellä, väistä

Here, there, over there, yield

Mä pistän jäitä sun lippikseen

I put ice in your cap

painan sen millisee, mielesi hillitsee

I put it in a milli, moderating your mind

I presume by "a milli" he refers to a gun, the bullet sizes in millimetres.

Hevillä käy vyös alla metallii

Going easily/heavy, metal under the belt

"Hevillä" can mean "easily" or it can mean "with heavy metal music", it's a double.

näytä rännis sä puhut sekavii

 Show me your drain/binge, you're talking's garbled

In English it's a "drinking binge" or a "drug binge", in Finnish it's a "drinking/drug pipe", or in this case, drain.

Tee se naama, jaffaa keitän

Make that face, I cook jaffa

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jaffa_(drink)

ei, en pidä vahvana teitä

No, I don't consider you to be strong

Pässil pokkaa, läskillä soppaa

Ram has some nerve, fattie got some soup

When a person is called "a ram", the animal, it means they're being very stubborn.

ja ässii täällä mut niin niin poppaa, as

And ass here but so so hot, as

Not the English word "as", Asa just often uses that as his signature tag. As if he'd need it, his flow and word choices being so unique and recognizable.

Hyvät hyssykät, sopan pystytän

Good grief, I set up a soup

pidä myssyssä, et taida pystyä

keep in the hood / with the weed, I don't think you can

Lit. "in the knitted cap". It rhymed with "soup", I couldn't resist.

No voihan markkinat, oisko varttia

It's off the wall, do you have a quarter (of an hour)

joudun marssia, mä pysyn skarppina

I have to march, I stay sharp

Well, more like "alert". But "sharp" rhymes better.

Hyvät hyssykät, soppaa pyssyssä

Good grief, soup in a gun

A field kitchen aka a goulash cannon. In Finnish it's "kenttäkeittiö" aka "soppatykki", "a soup cannon".

nosta myssyä, et taida pystyä

Lift the cap, I don't think you can

No voihan markkinat, soita vartijat

It's off the wall, call the security

ala marssia, mä pysyn skarppina

Start to march, I stay sharp

Hyvii toteutuksii huonoi ideoita

Good executions, bad ideas

huonoi yrityksii valvontavideoita

Bad attempts, security videos

Turhii visioita ongelmat kasaantuu

Futile visions, accumulating problems

niin moni pikkupoika omiin sanoihinsa kaatuu

So many little boys stumble upon their own words

Eyo, anna pulssin tasaantuu

Eyo, let the pulse settle down

mikä euroilla nousee se niiden myötä kaatuu

And what rises with euros, falls down with them

Oon nähny kaikkee ennenkin

I've seen everything before

no telkkarista tietenki

Well, on the tv, obviously

Kadult taskuun ja rännii

From the street to the pocket and into the drain/binge

rikos on niin siistii ja huumeet nii jännii

Crime is so neat and drugs so cool

No poika mikä nyt pännii

Well, boy, what's bugging you now

taas yhet kotibileet eikä yhtää ämmii

Another house party and no bitches

Päivä kerrallaan niinku kaikki muutki

A day at a time like everyone else

kiinni kaikki ikkunat ovet suutki

Shut, all the windows, the doors, the mouths too

Turhaan enää kierellä

No point to beat around the

pohjaan palanutta soppaa liedellä

Burned soup on the stove anymore

"Kierrellä ja kaarrella" = "Beat around the bush" / "mince words".

Hyvät hyssykät, sopan pystytän

Good grief, I set up a soup

pidä myssyssä, et taida pystyä

keep in the hood, I don't think you can

No voihan markkinat, oisko varttia

It's off the wall, do you have a quarter (of an hour)

Kannoin pöytälaatiko eväskoris kanii

I carried a rabbit in the picnic basket of the desk drawer

He took whatever was in the desk drawer and took it to a pawn shop.

viidenmarkan opetuksii huudan polvillanii

Five mark teachings I scream on my knees

Marks were the Finnish currency before euros, we switched in 2002.

Just omillani just just tolpillani

Barely on my own, just barely on my feet

panttikodissani oon tosissani

In my pawned home I'm serious

Ei tänne pusikoilla perusteta keidast

One can't found an oasis here with bushes

sain viiskybää kämppiksen pleikast

I got a fifty off of my roommate's PS

Kaksataa pimeet valtion keikast

Two hundred in black money from a government gig

No kidding, I've heard of these gigs, too. From what I've heard, they're usually some relatively easy construction work job where you sit around watching cameras in case a fire breaks out (usually doesn't, but everyone else is busy working, they wouldn't notice) or carry stuff from point A to point B. Then you get paid in cash, and no one pays taxes, hence why it's "black money", in Finnish "[one gets paid] as dark".

prepaidit heivas leikin vaa reipast

Got a prepaid (phone plan), I just pretend to be brisk/cheery

Laskut meni taskust zeni

Bills gone, zen from the pocket

vannon kädet päällä napsujeni

I swear, hands on my pillies

Astuit lapsoseni aika buliin stiflaan

My dear child, you stepped into some pretty huge boots

iso henki eikä perintönä viflaa

Big spirit and not even fifty as heritage (?)

Venaan tosimiestä paikalises puudutus

In local anaesthesia, I await a true man

rosvo virallinen kuullutus kuullutus

 An official bandit, public announcement!

Oli viimesen lähetyksen vieny asa

Asa took the last  broadcast

eikä levy-yhtiön pomo sitä tienny

And the record label boss didn't know that

Vaik oon pahojen puolel

Even though I'm on the side of the bad guys

turha luulla et mä skagaisin

Don't you dare to think that I'd be afraid

Näit vahtisikoi en jää kuses makaa sinne

You saw the guard pigs, I won't stay laying there in deep shit

Lit. "Laying there in piss"

mist mä tuun soppaa ja propagandaa jakaa sinne

Where I come from to deliver soup and propaganda over there

Vielki aijon ottaa kantaa jotain antaa takas sinne

I'm still gonna take a stand, give something back to that place

mis pakkasen kovuus mitataan kylmenneist densoist

Where the level of freeze is measured in cold drunkards

Ja aitajuoksijat remuttaa liimois ja bensois

And hurdlers rage on high on glue and gas

mut köyhät saa toisiltaan kumminki tukee

But poor people get support from each other, at least

Takas sinne mis spugetki pummii viel hugee

Back where drunkards are still beggin' for marks

Mark was the Finnish currency before euros.

eikä osaa ees lukee mut osaa turvottaa

And can't even read but can swell

Vaik sit betonii jonka sisään ne survotaan

Even if it's the concrete they're shoved in

Old, boring, grey high-rise buildings are made of concrete.

takas niille jotka tukottaa stadii

Back to those who're blockin' the city

Eikä alistu ku uuteen vaa upottaa jotai snadii

And won't submit like it's new, but sink something small

Muttei rahat hukota slagii vaa pomo massit bloggaa

But won't get their turn, since the boss collects the money

ja muistan toverille jeesi hatsi droppaa

And I remember to drop the comrade some helping hash

Moraalii en sylje, aatsipoppaa

I don't spit on morale, oof that's hot

moraaline kyljest, naatsilokkaa.

moral by my side, won't log with nazis

I'm just guessing with that last bar, he's playing with words so much it's sometimes hard to understand him.
